NEW SWEDE 9
NEW SWEDE 9
ERGONOMICS AND PRACTICALITY IN THE FIELD
The Swedish tradition of high-quality outdoor knives finds its new incarnation in EKA's Swede 9.
A versatile knife with great reliability.
Its 2.5mm thick scandi bevel clip point blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 steel with 59HRC hardness. The first feature that jumps out at you is its ergonomics, given by the EKA back lock and the contoured G10 handle.
These features, together with an especially large cutting surface, make the Swede 9 particularly easy to use, even in heavy and prolonged work situations in areas such as hunting or bushcraft.
Further enhancing the Swede 9's maneuverability is the one-handed opening feature, thanks to the blade pivot on both sides (making it practical for left-handed users as well).
The new Swede 9 has a hole at the rear end for the paracord lanyard to pass through and a handy clip so the blade can be attached to pockets and carried without any special bulk.
On the maintenance side, the cheek pads are easily removable to facilitate total cleaning of the blade and prevent wear and tear.
As a final touch, a sharpening steel is included, useful for every situation in the field where you need to sharpen your Swede 9 or start a campfire.
